Staff from IRCC-funded direct and indirect service providers.
Immigration plays a vital role in Canada’s economic and social development. Settlement service providers help newcomers to address basic needs, make vital connections to community services and organizations, and navigate unfamiliar systems. They also provide opportunities for newcomers to learn about their new home, improve language skills, and expand circles of friendship and support. At the same time, they help mainstream organizations and communities become more welcoming and responsive.
